Classic, for sure! I think there are styles that can look outdated, but not gold!

Both!!  But the same can be said for anything, LOL.  I really think it depends on the setting and personal preference.  Personally, after owning and wearing both, I greatly prefer yellow gold.  To me, YG wedding sets just say classic.  Everything goes in cycles, so while white metals are huge now, rose gold is also huge and I think yellow will be back in style very soon!

I am in love with yellow gold! It can be either timeless or outdated or it can be neither! I have yellow gold on my setting and I wouldn’t categorize it as timeless or outdated. The term people generally use to describe my usage of yellow gold is “unique”. It’s all depends on the setting!

I don’t have yellow gold in my set, but I’ve seen really pretty rings in YG; I think it’s classic and timeless.

I love yellow gold, it’s classic. My set is rose gold but I thought about yellow gold for a while!

I love yellow gold. Almost all of my jewelry is yellow gold so when my Fiance designed my ring, it was a no-brainer!

I love it. My ring (which will be ready soon!) is yellow gold and I can’t wait. I think it was in fashion when I was young…I’ve always pictured a wedding band in yellow gold, and I want it to match my engagement ring. The stones we’re having set are an antique cushion and two old european cuts, and I thought it was far more fitting for them. Also, since the claws are platinum, I won’t feel too mismatched whilst wearing any other silver-coloured jewellery!

Classic but I chose white gold because yellow looks nasty on my skin (olive colored). Rose gold looks good on me though.

It’s neutral and a fashion staple.  However, the way the setting is designed can be outdated.  Just like a pair of black pants is timeless, the way they are styled could look outdated.

I love yellow gold.  I tried on lots of white gold and platinum rings, I just did not like the look with my skin tone.  White gold is super popular right now but you have to go with what works for you.

@mrsfutures:  the jeweler said all you havae to do is look at what they carry in the display case and you will see what is in (white gold/plat)
