We have 3 wonderful people who are excited to stand with us, my 2 bff’s and the best woman (Grooms Sister). We’ve asked them to wear whatever makes them happy, so I’d like to add a couple of touches to help make them a tiny bit cohesive. I’m thinking of making them matching earrings. I’d make myself the same ones except mine would have pearls instead of the yellow bead. One of the girls though has small plugs and can’t wear normal earrings so I was thinking I could attach the top part that would normally sit on the lobe to the front of a plug and the rest would dangle off the lobe like a “normal” earring. I’m going to ask her what she thinks, but she’ll tell me she loves it and will wear anything I want her to so I need objective opinions. Edited to change the photo. This is an example I found of sort of what I’m thinking, but more “weddingy” looking.

@Goofball: Do you happen to know how small?
I ask because, as someone who wears plugs (though mine are on the larger scale), the smaller sizes are often hard to cover (though I would give Esty a check! There may be a seller who makes plugs like you pictured;but on a smaller set or that may be willing to make a custom pair for you/her!).
Just to throw an alternative out there; maybe you could share with her the general look you’d like to achieve and point her in the direction of sites like Omerica Organics (I think is the name, if not google should correct you/her) or BodyArtForms.
Those sites (especially the Organics) would likely have some really beautiful gemstones/crystal/stonework plugs for her to pick from 🙂

TBH I didn’t bother with earrings because 1. my Maid/Matron of Honor has plugs and 2. just worried how people will react to different metals.
(I personally have 15 ear piercings so I love earrings and if there was nothing to think about than how it would look I would have done earrings)
I’m going with hair flowers to pull the looks together.
ETA: to answer your question…the earrings you put up look beautiful. And if you found plugs that made it so it looked like someone was wearing those I think that would be awesome!

@LadyBortles: Working at a tattoo/piercing parlor, I talked to our piercing specialist about it and she says with a strong enough adhesive, it should be fine.

@Ladybortles thanks for the suggestions. I’d guess her plugs are less than 1/2″ maybe even 1/4″. They used to be huge but she stopped wearing plugs for like 5 years before she gave up trying to shrink them down. I don’t care if the plugs are covered, but wanted to do something special that would be a little unifying and let them stand out. I’d also like to make it for them (I do have a little skill and even sold a couple of pieces on Etsy before I figured out I like making things better than the business of selling things.)
@icetea thanks for the insight. Maybe earrings might not work. I considered necklaces but the necklines of the dresses are all different so there’s no one style that would work. I love the hair flowers. Wondering out loud if maybe a fascinator might be fun?
It’s good to have some feedback before I asked her, because she’d wear anything if she thought I really wanted it, and I don’t want to make her feel silly or like she had to hide her plugs.

I think hair flowers look cute on any hair type/ style

@Goofball: Gotcha! I thought you were talking about a plug less than say a 0/00. The sizes you mentioned should be easy! 🙂 I’m sure you’ll come up with something great (and please post pics when you do!)
@HonoraryNerd: Good to know it is possible! I just didn’t know if the smaller plugs would allow enough space for something to stick to! 🙂
