BAM! Diamonds! 🙂
My husband got a surprise bonus at work and though we’re using nearly all of it on stupid grown up/responsible stuff, he took me out to dinner and “randomly” suggested we swing by my favorite antique store just to look around. Well, much to my surprise, he let me pick out whatever I wanted!
I’ve been itching to have a wedding band that’s in line with my existing engagement/wedding ring (vintage setting w/ fishtail prongs and mine cut diamonds). I found a wonderful vintage band with transitional diamonds and am just absolutely thrilled. We got a MAJOR deal on it.
Haven’t gotten a great picture yet and I’ve since re-cleaned the mirror, lol.

I just realized my line about the good deal made it sound like, “Go on, ask me. No, no..stop… but really, go on!” I didn’t mean for it to come across that way.
Okay, so steal of the century! It was originally priced at just $285 but given the store, I knew I could haggle a bit. We got it down to $250 total *including* taxes since we were willing to do cash on the spot (husband ran to the ATM after hearing their counter-offer, haha).
It’s 14k two-tone gold and .48 ct I SI1 (very much eye clean).
ETA: My main ring is H/I overall and VS-quality so for being from two different periods and a random pairing, I’m very happy with just how well they match.

Oh that is beautiful and it is a steal. For me, that makes it even better. I’m a bargain hunter though. Congratulations. Love them together!
