Our friends who couldn’t come to our destination wedding purchased an early gift off our honeyfund registry (horseback riding). I sent a thank you card right awawy.
It ended up raining so we put the gift towards scuba diving. Now that the wedding is over… do I send another thank you card or just leave it be?

@mrsbruff2b: If they have received the first one there is no need for another, although you can if you wish.

You don’t need to, but you can. Since they are friends, you could always jsut call too and somewhere in the conversation, tell your friend about the scuba diving. She/he’ll probably ask about the honeymoon anyway.

@mrsbruff2b: I would say the second thank you card isn’t necessary. The fact of the thank you was to acknowledge the gift, which you did. I agree with the above poster who mentioned that if you talk to the gift-givers in the future, you can let them know you went scuba diving. That would be perfectly appropriate!!
