starcitylady :  That just sucks.  I’ve heard it can take longer to get AF after IUI, but 17 days?!? Ugh, ugh, ugh.

starcitylady :  Dang. Sorry you have to move on to another cycle. FX this one works!

AFM, I’m CD 17 of cycle 8 with no CM in sight. The past 7 cycles, I have had a lot starting 7-8 days before O. Hoping this isn’t going to be an anovulatory cycle. 🙁 I’m taking a break from temping and OPKs this month, so I guess time will tell.

The other night, I had the most wonderful dream that I had baby girl. It was so happy and peaceful. It was sort of a miracle I had a dream at all — I haven’t slept well due to anxiety for months. I told my DH about it, and he was such a buzzkill. He said: don’t get your hopes up — it was just a dream. Uh, thanks. I know.

Been lurking these boards the last month and now after coming home from my first doctors appointment I thought I’d join

Roll Call!

Cycles TTC:7

CD/DPO: cd8

Age/SO’s Age: 27/27

Link to chart (if you want to share):

What testing have you already had done or have scheduled? (HSG, SA, thyroid bloodwork, etc). Any issues coming up from those?: went in today because of irregular cycles and horrible period symptoms.  She did an ultrasound and pelvic exam which were both normal so she’s running blood tests to check thyroid.  She is thinking I could have endometriosis.  I’m going back next week to see what blood tests results show and discuss next steps/plan.

Any other known issues?:

What is the next step in your BFP plan?: waiting to talk to my doctor next week

Fun Question! What’s a quote, song, etc that you keep going back to in this TTC challenge that gives you hope and courage to keep moving forward?

i just find ways to distract myself. Lately that’s been reading and doing crafts.

sejf83 :  total buzzkill vibes from your DH, womp womp!  I have regular dreams about pregnancy and having babies and so does my wife.  Babies on the brain!  Fingers crossed you O soon… are your cycles typically longer?

I went to my follow up apt with my RE today and I will be starting Clomid this cycle, WOOHOO!  I was really happy because I didn’t even need to be pushy.  After missing my O last week I was really bummed and frustrated so at least this will make things a lot more predicatble.  I’m currently on CD24 so Im waiitng for AF to show up and then I’ll start Clomid on CD3.  This will be so much better, especially considering last IUI I didn’t actually get inseminated until CD27, so this will cut a few weeks of the waiting, YAY!

starcitylady : at least you’ve got the answer and you can relax for a few weeks before gearing up again!  FX that this next IUI is the one for both of us 🙂
