My O date varies and so does my LP.  I O anywhere from CD13-CD18 which is a nice little window. My LP is anywhere from 9-13 days.   Usually now around 11.

My sister ovulates right after her period. She has a short cycle, ovulates right after AF and then has a healthy LP of 14 days.  Everyone is different and depending on stress or other factors it can change our cycles.

heirofslytherin:  Sorry that you didn’t have a better result in March. I got a positive opk on cd7 a couple of months ago. Like yourself, this was really unusual for me so I kept checking (I used cheapies though) and got another LH surge on CD 15. When I spoke to my OBGYN about it she said that you can get more than one surge but that the main one should be stronger. Luckily you are charting so you should be able to see from your chart if you Od in the next few days. I’d definitely keep using opks to make sure though. If you did O this early I would assume you’ll have a shorter cycle (if you’re not KU). I Od a little early this month and my cycle was 5 days shorter.

heirofslytherin:  Get lots of BD in and hope that it’s it. If you get another surge, hopefully you’ll get some bd in before your Darling Husband surgery. I really hope this is your month as I can imagine the frustration at having to wait for a few months x

I’ve gotten a couple of false positives on the clear blue digital opks… Went from low to ‘peak’ without a high.  I think they are so sensitive that if you are more dehydrated one day, it senses the increased hormone concentration and gives you a false result.  This happened to me in 2 months out of 8 cycles using them.  I’ve never gotten a false positive using the wondfo opks and I always confirm ovulation through temping.
