I was very dizzy before I got my BFP. When I turned my head the whole world would spin lol. That was the only really early one I think that started a week and a half after we conceived.

@brush1027:  I had sore boobs, but I always get sore boobs around my period so that didn’t really tip me off.  What made me test was the fact that I was peeing constantly (much more than normal).  I was also more fatigued than usual.

Most of my symptoms (morning sickness, food aversions, mood swings, etc) didn’t start until week 6 or 7 though.

I had to pee so often that I SERIOUSLY thought I had a bladder infection or a UTI. I even saw a doctor! It was too early for a pregnancy test to come back positive – I think I was 8 dpo when I saw a doctor, and 10 dpo when my test came back positive. I didn’t have pain, but I had the urinary frequency of a UTI. When I would lay down to go to bed, I’d seriously have to get back up every 15 minutes for an hour-hour and a half to go a teeny tiny amount each time. Sorry for the Too Much Information, but that was my first symptom!

Before the positive test, I was late and it felt like I had a huge gas bubble in my stomach.

Early pregnancy, some nausea without vomiting and sore boobs. I was also very, very hungry.

My only early symptom was a super faint pink spotting at 7 DPO.  I prob wouldn’t have noticed it if I hadn’t been reading up on early pregnancy symptoms as it was barely there.  I got my BFP with FRER a few days later, the first time I tested that month, at 11 DPO.

My boobs are always sore pre-period, so that part felt 100% normal.

My symptoms really only consisted of my typical PMS symptoms. I was extremely hungry the night before I was suppsed to get my period and my boobs were sore – other than that the only other thing was my missed period.

Before BFP- until 5 weeks: Cramps, sore boobs, hungry, emotional, tired, sharp twinges in abdomen after ovulation (implanting or a small cycst on ovary?)

5-6 weeks– I spotted brown for 2 days at 5/6 weeks, VERY tired, hungry ALL the time, a little upset stomach here and there (diarhea at one point)

after 6 weeks-nausea and food aversion started full force after 6 weeks, blue veins form on ever growing boobs, constipation, starving but nauseous, TIRED, BAD bloating and gassy feelings, gums bleeding

So for your ladies who usually have sore boobs pre-period…you had them as pg symptoms as well?

I always see these as a sure sign I’m about to get my period – but I didn’t know if it would carry on to pg as well.

@KateByDesign:  Yeah both.  I always get them pre-period and I got them pre-BFP too. They get SOOOO much worse as the weeks go by though.  And then they stop hurting so much once your hormones calm down a bit and they stop expanding so rapidly. At least that is what happened to me.

@KateByDesign:  it was different for me. I never got sore boobs before my period. had them from pretty much day one of being pregnant, even a couple weeks before I had my BFP.

I know it’s probably really vague and frustrating to hear but every woman is different and will experience symptoms differently. I do think it has something to do with how sensitive you initially are to hormonal changes as well. Those people I know with bad PMS are usually the ones to feel ‘pregnant’ before the BFP. I’ve always been really sensitive to hormone changes, so when I first knew I was pregnant it was pretty obvious. I started throwing up for no reason, moody, weird sleep changes as well as cramping that wouldn’t go away. It was actually pretty painful for the first few weeks but stopped after a while and my doctor said it’s normal, esp for first pregnancies. I knew something was up but refused to believe I was pregnant until it showed on the test. Certainly it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced- I felt so bad I ‘just knew’ I was pregnant- or needed to go to the doctor to get an exam I felt so horrid lol. Glad it was the first.

@KateByDesign:  Yep!  At first, I didn’t notice a difference between pregnancy sore boobs and PMS sore boobs.  However, the pregnancy boobs got to the point where it was painful to even lie on my stomach.  The soreness calmed down after a few weeks though.

Oh, also, this may be Too Much Information, but my nipples also hurt and got itchy, which didn’t ever happen with PMS.

@travellingfool:  ditto the exhaustion of the first few weeks and bloating. And gas. That symptom hasn’t let up lol. DEF, noticed being more tired than ever.

I forgot another random early symptom…insanely vivid dreams!  Right away, I started having these incredibly random, vivid, detailed dreams.  I still have them every night. I wasn’t much of a dreamer pre-pregnancy (not dreams that I would remember, at least).
