There have been a lot of early pregnancy threads lately. Just out of curiosity, wanted to set up a poll asking if your early pregnancy symptoms were similiar to your PMS symptoms (or lack thereof). I’m guessing by “early” pregnancy we can say 1st trimester since obviously there would be no PMS equivalent when you have a bowling ball strapped to your pelvis!

@pfinarffle: I voted no. I usually suffer from PMS; get mad at my hubby, sore boobs, spotting a few days before af, and food cravings. 4 days before af was due I had none of these signs, which is what made me pee on a stick and find out I’m preggers 🙂
The pregnancy sympotms kicked in at about week 6-7

I voted no – when I found out I was pregnant I was soooo tired and such a cow! I have very little PMS symptons, if anything I feel a bit teary for a day and that’s it.
My Mum laughed and said “You’re being such a *****, it’s like your pregnant” – that was one week before I found out!

Mine were exactly like my PMS symptoms. Moody, hungry, slight cramping….I remember it being monday night and I was supposed to start my period sunday. Typically the day before I get it i find myself snacking much more than normal and usually right before bed so when Monday rolled around and I was doing that I was sure my period was coming. The next day when it didn’t I waited until after work and then swung by the store to pick up dollar store test and bam….faint bfp! for me the symtoms were almlost exactly the same but after finding out i noticed more symptoms like sore breasts and fatigue….

I have always had mild PMS symptoms, just alittle cramping but nothing major. Pregnancy symptoms were alot more intense.

Similar but more intense and with loads of other symptoms too like hot flushes and strong sense of smell
