Need a little advice. Darling Husband and I have been TTC for about 1 month. I have been off the pill since jan. i am 9 days overdue but I have been feeling like my AF is on its way with that horrible discomfort, but no cramping. I normally have cramps, pressure and the uncomfortable feeling the day before it arrives. The only other symptoms I have is a bit of bloating and the need to pee… Every 5 minutes 🙂 I’m trying not to get my hopes up and I don’t want to take a test till next week just in case. Just want to see if any other mums or expectant mums have had the same signs or am I just getting ahead of myself

If your 9 days overdue for your period, you can most definitely take a pregnancy test. It’s really the only way you’ll know, it’s definitely possible that your pregnant.

oh yeah, no worries about taking a test 9 days after your expected period. I say go for it!

I had the peeing. Before I had even missed my period I notice it seemed like I was pering very 5-10 mins.
Do a home pregnancy test and see 🙂

I always thought the frequent peeing was caused from pressure of the baby on your bladder? Does this happen the whole pregnancy? Even early on?

I thought the need to pee was caused by bubs sitting on the bladder too, but apparently it is caused by your kidneys working overtime due to the elevated HTC levels in your system.

I could have sworn i was going to get my period right before i found out i was prengant. I was eating like crazy (which is typical for me to snack more than normal the day before i get it) and had AF like cramps. I would go ahead and test like PP said! I was 1 day late when I tested and got a very very faint positive 🙂

Those were some of my symptoms, esp. the peeing all the time.
I say test!
PS – My doctor said that early pregnancy symptoms are so much like PMS that people who don’t want to be pregnant are able to convince themselves for weeks and weeks that they’re not pregnant because the cramping and everything else makes them think their period is right around the corner. (She told me this when I was worried about having cramps at 6w).
