@LuluH…I had a D&C because my numbers were still rising, and my body was holding on to the sac. I went for the D&C because i don’t think i could of handled miscarrying on my own. It went great i had a some bleeding after, and it even helped make my periods better.

@LuluH:  First off, I am terribly sorry you are going through this! Second off, your story is practically identical to mine. But mine started with mild spotting which led to the u/s where we only saw a gestational sac measuring 4 weeks when we were supposed to be 6 (it was then that I got on Google and self diagnosed myself with a blighted ovum). They kept telling me my dates were probably off but I knew better. Yeah, I didn’t know my O date but I knew the date of my last period and the days we BDd. To make what could be a long story short, I ended up spotting for about 9 days before my body miscarried on it’s own (crampy but pretty much a normal-like period). And honestly, even though it was the hardest thing I’ve ever went through, it was such a relief it was over. I finally had an answer. And if I would’ve had other options, I would’ve still done it naturally. Your body knows what to do. It might take more time, but it will be easier on your body in the long run (IMO). PM me if you need anything. HUGS!
