Could you put them in an envelope on the tree with his name on them? If he doesn’t see it right away, you could tell him to check out your “new ornament.”

I would probably do some sort of treasure hunt.  Leave a note on the front door or send him an email at work.  Then have a few clues around the house.  Maybe one can lead to a surprise dinner, another to a shirt, a few random ones, and then finally to the tickets.  The clues can also reference his team.

Or you can wrap them in a box and leave it sitting in his seat.

Or you can be a little more, um, sassy and hide the tickets somewhere on your body and under your clothes and tell him you have something on you, but he has to find it.

1.Tape them to the bottom of the remote at half time if he gets up to get a snack or use the washroom.

2.Get a football themed latex balloon (not mylar- you want to be able to see through the balloon)and place the tickets inside before you have the balloon inflated with helium. Tie the ballon to the TV, pretend you decided to decorate, then wait to see how long it takes him to notice there is something inside the balloon.
