@adw2c: I can’t even imagine how devastated you are right now. No only that you are displaced but that you have to postpone your wedding. i don’t have any advice, but know that my thoughts are with you and your family. I hope everything works out and you get the wedding of your dreams soon.

I’m sorry to hear that such a big and important event to you was disrupted.  I know people may think “Thats selfish”, but honestly, WHO WOULDN’T be bummed if a natural disaster prevented their wedding plans.

Have faith that eventually things will calm down over time, and you will still be able to have the wedding of your dreams.  It will be delayed, but it didn’t disappear.  Keep reminding yourself that you still have the most important part of your wedding (Your Fiance!), which definitely could have been affected negatively.

*Hugs*  I feel for you!!

I am just glad that you are all safe.  I immediately thought about you when this first came over the news early in the morning.  If there is anything that the Hive can do for you just let us know and we will be there.   My heart and prayers go out with and for you.

Once things have settled down, I believe that your wedding will provide a bright spot of joy for people who are longing to feel “normal” again. I know it’s so tough to look at it this way, but that’s one way of seeing it.

My heart really goes out to you, though. I don’t think it’s selfish to be upset that your wedding got cancelled – this is what tragedy does: it disrupts the normal rhythms of life and joy. You are part of the story. I’m so glad you’re all right, and my heart goes out to you!

@adw2c: Know that we are thinking of you! I’m glad to hear you and your family are safe, but I’m sure it must be very disappointing to put all of this on hold for awhile. While a wedding is important, everything happening around you is more important right now. Hopefully in the right time and place you will get the wedding you dreamed of!

OMG….

I am so sorry.

I have been watching for you and thinking about you in and with every post. I know the devestation over there is more horrible than any of us that are not there can even begin to imagine. Just know we are thankful that you and yours are okay, and under the same circumstances we would do the same as you. You are in our constant thoughts and prayers and know that it will work out in the end. As another poster has already commented; if there is anthing that we might be able to do for you, please don’t be afraid to ask. And again, you are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
