I have been dress shopping for 5 months and probably tried on 100 dresses. How do you pick just one?! I haven’t even picked a style – somedays I’m convinced I want a princess dress, other days I want a fit and flare. I’m petite (5’3 and size 2) so trying on gowns is difficult as I’m left guessing what they’d actually look like if they fit. I fell in love with a Pronovias dress called America but apparently it is 5 years old and no longer in production. I would love a dress similar to this style. Any suggestions!? Please help!

I cant help, but I felt the same way! Easier to pick the boy than the dress! I wore a dress that came out in 2006 or 07… so some dresses do stick around! Luckily mine did because I had been drooling over it that entire time! 😉

Totally agree! “I’m petite (5’3 and size 2) so trying on gowns is difficult” I can relate to this as well since I’m the same height and size. People always say it’s like picking a guy, once you find the one you don’t look any others no matter how attractive, but I don’t agree. I tried on 100+ dresses and didn’t think any of them were right for me. In a real life dating situation like that, I would choose to stay single rather than settle. But you DO need a wedding dress to get married so can’t do that! You also have only so many months to pick one which adds to the pressure.
Some of us also wear multiple dresses for this reason 😉 Good thing monogamy is not required for wedding dresses 🙂
