It is snowing today in my hometown and the wedding is on April 13! Before I was worried about rain, now I am worried about it being freezing cold. The 10 day forecast has temps rising to low 50s by a week before the wedding. Luckily nothing is taking place outside but pictures are going to be a nightmare and I didn’t buy winter-weather accessories for myself or the bridesmaids because why would I need that in April, right?

It is snowing out my window right now. We didn’t get a snow day all winter (I work in a school) but it snows the first day of spring break. *sigh* I gave up trying to understand this weather! Don’t stress… There’s nothin you can do to change it And your wedding will be beautiful either way! It does look like it’s going to get warmer though! My forecast says 60 degrees next Wednesday (10 days time!)

Oh no! Where is your wedding?

@shady_lane: It’ll be ok! It was low 40’s at my wedding and we just sucked it up! I had blankets to keep me warm between photos. I even had cute wellies and an unbrella in case of rain or snow. Turned out we didn’t need them. I had a (very!) hot drink as soon as I went inside and I was fine!!

@shady_lane: I feel your pain! I get married in one week – and I’m currently snowed into my house!

My wedding is the same day and I’m not stressing (yet). Winter keeps lingering, but I can’t imagine it snowing in mid-April!
