Fiance and I have been asked to bring appetizers to the Easter family get together. My one and only success with appetizers has been deviled eggs – which I hesitate to make since we have an hour’s drive, and even in the cooler I worry about egg stuff going bad, and not travelling well in the first place.
Any other ideas for something that would hold up for an hour’s drive and be appealing?
Thanks for any suggestions!!

Astra: I make a veggie salad of chopped tomatoes, avocado, and cucumbers which I mix together with Wish Bone Balsamic dressing. It doesn’t need to be refrigerated and the longer it sits the better it tastes.

Astra: We are having quite a few kids at dinner so I have painted everyone’s name on a plastic garden pot from the $ store, glued on a stuffed bunny cut off from a headband, and will fill up the pots with strips of zucchini at the back and baby carrots in front. I will serve a dip in a separate pot.
