winerygirl:  oooh! give each person an easter egg (the plastic kind), put a small plastic baby inside (or something baby-themed) and have them all open them at once!

or make a jigsaw puzzle that say’s “we’re pregnant!” or something like that (a simple one) and put one piece in each egg

We hid little babies in eggs :).  You could also hide a word in each egg and then have them unscramble the code at the end.  Or take a picture with an Easter Bunny and some sweet little baby shoes and add “coming *due date*” or something like that.

OR have everyone pose for pictures and say things like “Everyone say Happy Easter” “Everyone say Easter Bunny!” “Everyone say winerygirl and hubby are going to have a baby!”

winerygirl:  we announced at Thanksgiving… Both Easter and Thanksgiving are huge for DH’s family… We always have a large group (50+) over for dinner both nights… Since we are Catholic we always say grace before we eat… So this thanksgiving Darling Husband volunteered to say grace… He said the standard “Bless us o Lord for these thy gifts….” Part but before the “Amen” our family always adds personal blessings so he said “Bless our friends and family who could not be with us tonight…. And Bless My unborn Child due in June – we can’t wait to meet you… Amen!” Everyone freaked out!! It was perfect!

I always imagined announcing at thanksgiving or Easter…. Had it worked out for Easter for us I probably would have done the group photo idea where you trick everyone into saying “Say XXXX is pregnant!” Lol
