@ms.melli:  I’ve never ordered crib bedding off there, but I have ordered a lot of other items. I’ve yet to have an issue with a seller or anything I’ve bought – knockonwood! I found a set on there that I loved, so I just ordered the matching fabric and bought a used bedding set for $10 locally…I’ll use the used set as a pattern to sew my own bedding set, for about a third the price of the one I found and loved.

i am in the process of working with an etsy seller for crib bedding.  i have bought other items from etsy before with no hassle, but this is the most “custom” item I have purchased.  hopefully all will go well.  i agree that it is a perfect spot to get exactly what you want!

I’m just commenting so I can follow. I’m curious on etsy bedding as well. I’m not pregant but we are TTC and have looked at bedding but can’t find anything I like. I plan on being team grean and unless you are gender specific, big box stores bedding isn’t getting it for me. I’ve seen some of the bedding on etsy and LOVE them, but wasn’t too sure about how it would turn out.

@ms.melli:  Sounds like a giant pain in the @ss! I don’t know what I’d do without my lovely sewing machine!

Most sellers on etsy are hardworking artists who put a lot of time and love into their work. It’s a very safe and delightful place to shop! Nothing at all like eBay :/

And I’d say to just go for it….like I said before, I’ve never had a problem with ANYTHING I’ve bought on Etsy. If you do have an issue you can create a complaint with Etsy themselves within a certain time frame, and if you pay by PayPal you can complain there too, and if you use your Visa you have ANOTHER way to recoup your money should things go bad.

@ms.melli:  That sounds about right…the one I pictured that I’ve been lusting over for months is listed at $350 for the set as well. I really wouldn’t worry too much, there are 3 avenues available to you for compensation should you not get what you thought you were getting. Post a picture when you can!! πŸ™‚

I buy things on Etsy a lot and I usually just check out the seller’s feedback rating/reviews before purchasing. I’ve never had a problem. I am actually working with a seller now on purchasing a crib skirt. I don’t really like the ones I’ve seen in stores and many of the sellers on Etsy just have so many different fabric options to choose from. Good luck!

I bought my crib bedding on Etsy and it came out great! I ordered just the crib skirt and changing pad cover and she made me a matching sheet at no cost since I was her first customer πŸ™‚ I’ve had really positive experiences with Etsy and I would definietly reccomend ordering from there.
