I bought a roll of .041 lockwire at Walmart (it comes in a one-pound roll, blue plastic container) and wrapped one end around the end of a wooden spoon a couple times and squeezed the circles tight with pliers. That made the end that holds the card.
I printed the card stock printed in my home printer, two pieces glued together with my favorite “Yes!” glue (does not make paper wrinkle or wave).
Then I stuck the other end of the wire into a small hole in a wooden bass. I have a table saw so I cut these with angles (you save wood by turning the board over every time, the angle is the same), sanded them, painted them, drilled a tiny hole in the top.
