(Closed) Easy Meals to Make in a Hotel (without a kitchen)?

If he can get a hot plate, I really like the bertolli frozen meals.  They aren’t really cheap though.  There is a lot you can make with a crockpot.  You can make a ton of chicken dishes.  He might want to get a crockpot cookbook for ideas.

My Fiance just made this in the crockpot the other night:

mini red potatoes – cut into 4 (1in cubes)

chicken sausage – sliced

brown rice UNCOOKED

leeks – white parts ONLY, sliced

Add some water just enough so that the rice soaks it up

Combine all ingredients and cook on either low or high (depending on how long you have)

We also added some spinach on the side – which he can cook in the microwave

Oh and not to be a pain and keep posting BUT if you are on Facebook there is a Fan Page entitled “Crockpot Recipe Exchange” that has crazy good recipes listed – including crockpot cake!!!!

If he has a crockpot, you guys can go online & look up crockpot recipes. There’s a TON out there! There’s probably a slow cooker recipe book out there. Allrecipes.com also has a slow cooker newsletter!
