Do you have an inspiration photo of what it’s going to look like when finished?

Oh cool! Yeah, I bet Command strips would work well, plus they won’t damage the letters or the wall.

I can totally picture it! How bright is the gold? The only reason I ask is that, at least in our kitchen, there’s a fair amount of chrome, and I’m wondering if gold would fit in? Obviously it depends on your style and what kinds of decor and colors you usually go for. 🙂

@PrncssDva:  Ooh, that sounds interesting! There’s nothing inherently wrong with gold, but I just usually gravitate toward silver more. Just my own taste. But if there were specks of both, that could be really pretty and really versatile!

@PrncssDva:  Haha poor thing! Well, you said you weren’t going to put them up till you have a house, right? Could you wait and see what colors work well with the kitchen in your house?

@PrncssDva:  I would keep them all the same colour and I agree with Gemstone that maybe it would be best to wait to see what your new kitchen looks like. If there’s a lot of stainless steel, gold might look really out of place. Also, the glitter might make them hard to clean. They’ll likely need a good wipe down every few weeks/monthly just from grease and splatter from the stove, and either the glitter will come off, or it’ll be REALLY hard to clean, so I’d just keep that in mind.

@PrncssDva:  Cute idea but you may want to wait until you have your house.  Our microwave is above the stove so there is no place where you could hang letters like this.  May want to confirm your house will actually have a space to hang them.
