Yikes, they list their likes and dislikes?

If I was going to a family member or close friend’s house I would have no problem asking what they were serving ahead of time but I would never make requests unless the host asked me what I’d like them to make. I’d always just eat whatever I could of what is being served and smile.

I’m on Weight Watchers and it’s helpful to me to know in advance what will be served so that I can plan my day/week accordingly to account for it. I would NEVER expect someone to make special allowances for me or ask my host to make me a WW-friendly meal, but I would feel fine about casually inquiring as to what’s being served ahead of time so that I can manage my week (as long as it was a good friend or family member’s house). I would of course eat whatever is being served, but if I know in advance it’s something particularly indulgent I could fill up on veggies or something before I go so that I’ll be satisfied with a small amount.

I think the only time its really acceptable is if you have an allergy. Otherwise, suck it up and eat what is served.
