You’ve done a great job, so far!  Keep up the good work!  I started a similar program, myself, last Thursday.  I am doing one Body By Vi shake everyday, then trying to eat healthier the rest of the day.  I have had slip ups, but they’re nowhere near as bad as usual.  I’ve found that these shakes actually make me crave healthier foods!  Thursday night, I actually WANTED a grilled chicken salad for dinner!  I have NEVER wanted a salad for my main dinner course, before.  Just now, I had oatmeal for a snack because I was really hungry.  I was so tempted to make a hotdog with some of FFIL’s homemade chili on it, but I stuck to the oatmeal.  I hope I can keep with this and keep making healthier choices, and I wish you nothing but the best of luck with your journey, as well!

Congrats!

If you work out hard, I would suggest eating slightly more. Maybe an extra 100-150 calories right after you work out (if its a light workout I wouldnt). This helps to restore your gylcogen stores which will help you recover faster (muscles and energy) and not be so tired and exhausted. Preferably a balanced snack with a little healthy fat and quick carbs. Like a 1/2 banana and a few nuts of PB smear.

So I completed my day one for a healthier me. It was tough especially since I am not feeling well but that is the point of this diet, to feel better. I couldn’t have made it without daniellealys:

Day One looked like this:

1/2 c cooked oatmeal with cinnamon and 3tbsp blueberries

2 8 oz glasses of water

2 scrambled egg whites with 1/8 c green pepper

2 oz chk br

1/2 c chopped apple

2 8 oz glasses of water

3 oz ckn br

1/2 c brown rice

1 c green beans

1/8 c homemade salsa

2 8 oz glasses of water

1 small apple

2 tbsp crunchy p. butter

2 8 oz glasses of water

3 oz chk br

1/2 c brown rice

1 c green beans

1/8 c homemade salsa

2 8 oz glasses of water

Fell asleep before last snack πŸ™

The 2 mile walk and 250 crunches and light weight training wore me out.

Today is off to a great start too.

Before anyone points out the food groups missing: I know they are missing. I have food allergies and I am on a doctor prescribed diet. This diet really is about taking back my health πŸ™‚

You guys are awesome! I just don’t have the willpower to eat super healthy right away so starting yesterday I put myself on a “don’t eat everything in sight” diet. So far, so good! Keep it up guys!

The more you workout the more you can eat. It is calories in and out, although working out makes it so you burn calories even when not working out. It actually helps speed up the metabolism. You are doing great, keep up the good work!!!
