Thanks! The engagement ring is from ~1900s and I just love how well they go together.

My ering was a craigslist find! Fiance bought it for $500, appraised at over 5k! I am also not ashamed, I’m proud that he is so savvy and commited to starting our life debt free 🙂

I LOVE this thread: the original ring we had picked out was a 1.75ct diamond solitaire with a very typical pricetag…and then I started looking around a couple of months ago and found something I like alot better AND was less expensive. I’m really glad he liked it too, because I’m very frugal and couldnt bring myself to stomach the thought of him paying so much for the first one.

I’d love to show mine off… again! Got it at the pawn shop I work at and damn proud of my good deal! $350! My wedding band was bought from there as well but Fiance says I am not allowed to put it on again until he does at our wedding… that’s in 6 DAYS!!!! EEK!

@MrsGo:  I LOVE European Cut diamonds! Mine has all European Cuts and my wedding band has all single cut diamonds. I just think they are so beautiful, and to think about who may have worn and loved them before me just make them that much more special!

My fh bought my e-ring, and I found the EXACT wedding band I wanted on ebay to go with my engagnement ring.    The engagement ring was a surpries but I knew from then what kind of band I wanted… the price, however, was just out of my range even at the online shops.

I found it on ebay.  It is brand new, it’s custom made (the original listing was white gold and much MUCH bigger size) but I still am happy that I only paid 330 bucks for it.   It matches PERFECTLY with my engagement ring and I can’t wait to wear them together.

@PeachSnapple:  Thanks! yes, I get first look at all the rings and jewelry that comes out for sale. I’m the “jewelry guru” at the shop so I set up all the displays and put all the rings out for sale after they’ve been cleaned. The shop is letting me borrow some pieces to wear for my wedding as well, so there are some great perks working here. 🙂 My discount is a bit bittersweet as well, i want nearly every ring that comes out and most are already great deals, adding the discount to it, I’m always surprised I even have a paycheck left! lol

@Mrs.Metalm:  I love your set! So pretty!

Here is my eBay ring:

It is a 3/4 carat equivalent moissanite with a platinum band from lord_of_gem_rings. 🙂 I love it!

Mine came from a pawn shop and it appraised for more than double what he paid.

Mine is vintage, bought off a seller on etsy, so equivalent to Ebay or an online pawn shop, lol.

10K YG, 0.25 carats, $85
