Heres mine, came from a vintage jewerly store in a small town outside where we live.

It’s sky blue topaz and dimonds in yellow gold, did some more digging around and discovered from the hallmarks it’s 1940s era from brighton UK. Could have been a royalty ring at some piont in time, who knows!

these are impressiVe! If anyone is interested I’m selling this from a previous relationship (no sadness. I have a new one).  My family jeweler says it appraises for more than I’m asking and that he’ll provide a written GIA certified appraiser. Bonus: it’s hand cut- a true vintage stone.  1.1 carat

I got mine from a pawn shop!!!!!  I love it so much!!  It is platinum and .5 tcw for $750.  It was apraised at about $3000 and was selling at a major jewelry chain 2 years ago for $4500.  I love the pawn shop route and am going that route for my wedding band!

@PeachSnapple:  Ha ha thanks! Yes It is an old mine cut diamond from ca 1860.

@BushelAndAPeck:  I know I love the history and mystery behind it. not to mention their individual characteristics. The jeweller said that mine most likely was originally set in a tiara. So cool!

Love this thread almost as much as i love ebay bargains!!

my ring

got it for an absolute bargain, nearly died when i had it appraised for insurance a couple of weeks ago!! middle stone is just over half a carat of yellow/champagne diamond (depends on the light, i love it!)  tcw just over a carat which is pretty big in the uk.

My wedding ring is this one off lord of gem rings but i’ve had it customised so that it’s half eternity rather than full
