Thank you for this thread ladies. This has totally convinced me that I am going to tell my SO I want a 2nd hand ring. Beautiful ring without the stupid mark up of a highstreet store, ummmm yes please!

I don’t have a pic but I bought my ring from a pawn shop costed us 75 and its a aquamarine solitare set longways. I love it so much plus it was a steal. Gotta love a good deal.

Here is my FI’s band and my e-ring, both from the pawn shop.  My ring also came with a matching band, that isn’t pictured.  Both of our rings are exactly what we wanted, at a fraction of the cost!  Mine had a couple of little scratches on it, but really, not a big deal at all!

Mine was a craigslist find that originally cost over $9k…my beauty was selling for $4500 on craigslist and me and the owner got along so well she knocked the price down to $3700. Cant wait to see what it’s appraised at! The center stone is .89 carats and the total carats for the ring is 2.5.

This is an old thread but I thought I would add mine. It’s a .53 carat diamond solitaire with a 14k white gold setting. The band is 14k rose gold with .25 carats of diamonds. My husband got them from EBay. One of the sellers sells estate pieces and the other is a jeweler on EBay and Etsy based out of California. For the two my husband paid $659 with an estimated retail value of $2200.
