My Mom was at a wedding at Cicada recently and raved about the venue and the food. Don’t know what it’s like cost wise.  good luck

The Ebell was one of my first choices in our venue search. Ultimately, they couldn’t adequately accommodate our large guest list. I was super disappointed because I loved it. My in-laws saw it and immediately thought it was over-priced for what you get. I believe it started at $150+ per person, and there were some other downfalls that made it an improper fit for us in the end. I would suggest taking a tour. It might work for you. Good luck.

Also, I checked out Ebell’s website and it IS gorgeous but has A LOT of restrictions.  One of which is everything has to be over and cleaned up really early, (I think it was either 11 or 12).

Cicada is one of my favorite restaurants and when I went to a wedding reception there a few months ago, it did not disappoint! Food was fantastic and the venue/party was a gorgeous affair filled with old-world elegance. There is plenty of garage parking in the surrounding downtown area.

Good luck in your search!

Cicada is gorgeous but pretty pricey.  Ebell is beautiful too – I’m not sure about their pricing.
