OMG – if I didn’t have my grandmother’s rings, I’d be all over this…… I may need a wooden ring "just because". Gorg! Thanks for sharing!

::sigh:: love the wood rings! I tried to talk the mister into a koa wood ring, but guess it wasn’t his cup of tea.

These are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

This gives me an idea — might we be able to put together a "green" board for posts like this, Mr. & Mrs. Bee?

Also check out robandlean on etsy.  They do wood, titanium and wood-titanium combos.  We got both of Mr. Doctor’s rings from them.  I posted them in another thread, so I won’t bore you with them again!

I think the wood rings are beautiful, but just a warning — my SIL and her husband have matching ones, and they are very water-sensitive. They got them as engagement rings, and ended up getting plain silver bands for wedding rings because of disintegration — it’s not too sad because my SIL now wears her wood ring as a pendant, and it’s still gorgeous!

So it’s greener to cut down a tree to make a ring than to use metals that do not contribute to our environment? *Shrugs* I’m not on the "Green" boat anyway. I have no problem with helping the environment, but I’m not going out of my way to do so. These are so cute that it doesn’t matter. 🙂 I would get one but not for a wedding band. I would get it because it’s earthy and cool. I especially like the one in the last pic. hehe

My boss’s wedding ring is a titanium and wooden band (apprently the wood is from a very old tree…dont know exactly how old but I recall its old!) Its quite neat but I find the ring to be very chunky so I dont like it that much.

They’re very neat though!
