Ha anyone DIYed edible centerpieces? I’ve seen them online, but don’t really want to pay $50 for one centerpiece that will be eaten!
I want to make them out of red and orange fruit, chocolate, and silk flowers and I want some ideas!

google edible arrangements and see if you can find cookie cutters in the shapes of flowers!

YUMMMM!!! I’m a nurse and someone sent us one of those edible arrangements one day – it was soo gorgeous and delicious!! They are very expensive if you buy them premade, but it’s pretty much just bites of fruit (some dipped in chocolate) and put on skewers, and arranged to look like a flower arrangement. I would buy some kind of pot or glass dish, use green floral foam to place inside, and start from there. Even with fresh fruit it would be much cheaper to diy these!

I think it sounds like a yummy idea, but keep in mind- after your guests start eating it, it’s going to look totally mangled and bare in the center of the table. Do you really want picked over centerpieces in the pictures?

That’s why I also want to incorporate silk flowers so they don’t look totally bare.
I’ll have to see what fruit is in season in March too. I don’t want to spend a ton of money on fruit that isn’t in season.
