We’re having a black and ivory wedding right after Thanksgiving, and I’m trying to think of a good edible favour that will match our color scheme and isn’t jordan almonds or truffles… I don’t mind using a favour box, but I keep thinking that something salty and/or seasonal would be awesome since the guests could then eat it as they’re waiting for the 1st course to come out.
We’re having a pretty formal evening reception, so I’m looking for something that will look really classy on the table–nothing rustic or cutesy… Any ideas?? I’m lost!

Chocolate covered pretzels you could also do the stick ones…

what about chocolate dipped strawberries, or dried fruit, or something like that with fruit. You could do caramel apples, I know the don’t match the color theme, but if you wrapped them with a wrapper that matched your theme it could work out. Sorry I don’t have any more suggestions, hope that helps.

Mmm, those are good ideas. Anyone else have more suggestions?

This might not be what you’re looking for, but maple-sugar candies that are in the shape of maple leaves would be cute for a fall wedding. You could see if you can have the packaging match your scheme. Plus, they are pretty and I love them. 🙂

We are doing homemade caramel pieces. My grandma is making them (she makes them every year for x-mas, sooo yummy) and then me and a few of my Bridesmaid or Best Man will be wrapping them and adding favor tags with ribbon.

I love the idea of pie in a jar, though it would be a lot of work. But so cute!!
