We made chocolate rose lollipops and attached mini MOO cards to them for our guests. Each guest got a white chocolate rose and a milk chocolate rose. People loved them ๐Ÿ™‚

@creativeone710:  Thanks! I spent hours working on them! It’s my husband’s tartan and I put unique love quotes on each tag (that’s 100 quotes!). They have this on the back of them:

We are alternating wine bottles (mini and homemade wine) and chocolates at each place setting.

You could also do a “bar” and have takeout boxes.  Candy bars are super cute.  We’re doing a s’mores bar!

I’m not quite sure yet… In face maybe ya’ll can help me! I am doing a s’mores bar

and a hot chocolate bar

I think our favors are going to come from this. My original idea was take-away bags that people can put s’mores ingredients in and take with them. Then I saw one of the blogger bees post about baking mugs that their guests decorated and sending that home with them as a favor. Since we are having a very small wedding, I thought that might be a good idea…but then I got afraid that it would be seen as cheesy or childish. I really don’t know what to do!

@carolyn.sp.79:  Hey, we posted at the same time about the s’mores bar! Can you tell me more about yours?

I haven’t decided 100% yet. They vary in difficulty. I am going to take a stab at making them myself. In order of easiest to hardest they are:

Cupcakes:

Macaroons:

Truffles/Bon Bons/Cake Balls (one of those!):

I don’t have any pictures yet but we did a “fall trail mix” in mason jars, which was their escort card as well. It was great, the guests loved the variety of different treats.

@BabyBlueEyes:  My venue is very rustic, so we’re having a fire and putting out various chocolates, graham crackers, and marshmallows.  I don’t even think I’ll have something for people to take it home in.  It will go up around 9 pm.  I mean, we’re having a photobooth (electronic pics, that will be emailed or put online), a mac n cheese bar, a s’mores bar ON TOP of buffet dinner, dessert table, and open bar (can you sense I REALLY like eating LOL).

From my experience, unless people can eat it and eat it there (which even if you spend a bunch of time and money on packaging, they will most likely eat it at the wedding) they don’t want the favor…
