My aunt and I will be making big batches of pralines for my New Orleans wedding, and maybe some Roman Candy (local flavored taffy). Is there maybe a regional snack or candy that you or your Fiance love?
We’re doing a candy bar with paper bags so people can take lollies home with them if they’d like, or can eat them there, up to them 🙂
I think I am going to go with cute little jars of honey or homemade jam for my wedding. I think I will also be attaching name cards to the jars so they can double as place settings.
3 flavors of chocolate covered cheesecake bites, with 3 variations of our wedding logo! I made paper fan flowers for the favor box, and tied a piece of tan twine around the box. They were a huge hit and our cake lady did an awesome job! Probably about $3 each (and a bunch of hours spent crafting).
Our friends had the best favors I’ve seen, it was a mini olive oil and balsamic vinegar set. It’s nice because you don’t eat it right away but you still have something to remember them by as well, plus it’s useful.
We’re probably going to steal that idea.
A couple of my BMs are going to make macarons the day before the wedding, as they are amazing bakers! I’m not too bothered about flavour, but our wedding colours would be nice. Chocolate always goes down well too 😉
I love these favour boxes from Martha Stewart – so easy to make and they look so sweet!
I have no idea what I am going to do but I wanted something ediable b/c people love to eat lol.
We made chocolate covered bride & groom oreos! Our guest loved them. They were fighting for the few extras we had lol.
