I’m torn between Maggie soterro and having my incredibly talented mil making my dress BUT… She lives in Toronto. All the savings I would have gained by having her make the dress would be lost in going to Toronto as two trips to Toronto plus cost of fabric would basically be my dress budget and my dad will kick in to make sure his baby girl has her dress.
My Fiance suggested she fly here to fit me and fabric shop because she loves to trabel but honestly… Does anyone know of any great places to get fabric in Edmonton?

I bet you’ve already solved your problem already, but Estee’s fabric on 99th, just north of the Whitemud has GORGEOUS fabric. I’m not 100% sure of price points for bridal fabric, but other fabrics have varied prices. Good luck!!

@Jaxxmom: I’m guessing you have found a seamstress by now. However, if you haven’t, I suggest Little Boat Fasions on 97 Street (Chinatown).
Also, my friend’s mom. This friend runs Sweet Carousel Corsetry. http://sweetcarousel.com/
You could try send Elise an email via her website. Keep us posted 🙂
