So future hubby and I both knew from the beginning that we wanted to go on a cruise. I have been on several (its my familys top vacation choice) but he has never been on one. We wanted the luxury of having our lodging, transportation, food and entertainment all in one place for one price. So today we finally booked our honeymoon cruise. We are cruising with Carnival. Its a eight day cruise that tours Grand Cayman, Mexico, Honduras and Belize. We are SOOOO excited. :)))
Anybody else doing a honeymoon cruise??

How exciting! We had talked about going on a cruise for our honeymoon, but ended up doing something else. It’s still on the list for a future vacation though! I’ve never been on a cruise. Your destinations look so fun! I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time. Congrats on getting it booked! It feels good to get decisions made, doesn’t it?

We are doing a Carnival cruise for our honeymoon. I have been on two cruises and love them, Fiance has never been on one either. Our ports are Half Moon Cay, San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk.

A cruise is the leader pf the honeymoon options, currently. I’ve cruised many times before, FI’s first cruise was a vacation with me a couple years ago and he was definitely hooked.

@futuremrsloveday -we did that itinerary 2 years ago and had a fabulous time! Let me know if you need any suggestions regarding excursions. We booked all of ours locally with folks we read about on cruisecritic, with the exception of Belize. There we took the ship’s trip to the barrier reef and a small island for snorkeling. The ship sponsered excursion was the only one that was allowed to pick up from the boat. If we’d gone with someone else we would have had to tender in and then go back out.
Actually, now that I think about it, I did that itinerary 7 – 8 years ago as well. Roatan has changed so much since I first went. The first time I went to Belize I did the cave tubing and that was awesome – however, the snorkeling in Belize is still my favorite out of all the places I’ve snorkeled. Roatan is my favorite place to dive.
You will have so much fun!

Fiance and I have talked about it and I think it’s safe to say that we will. We can leave at a port that’s close to our home so there’s no need to worry about airfare as well.

We’re looking into them, but haven’t decided on anything yet.
