@Jezika:  Goodness, I love this dress on you! I see the small imperfections but they aren’t huge distractions (still with it being your wedding dress, I’d fix it) Alterations shouldn’t be too much so congrats on your dress 🙂

@Jezika:  I can’t thank you enough for taking the time and trouble to answer my questions.  I didn’t even remember to tell you in the first message how wonderful your dress is and how much it suits you – sorry about that, talk about self-absorbed.  I too had a Siamese cat and she would have been the same which is probably why it was your message board I posted on, it also convinced me that no company would go to the hassle of having a cat around to be photographed!!  I am going to take the leap and just do it.  Mine isn’t even a wedding dress just an evening gown for a special and rather fancy ball I am going to.  I am a perfectionist however, I am prepared to compromise on the best quality fabrics etc to get a dress at a decent price and not spend $500 or more, to me it is not worth the money, too darn dear for one or possibly two nights wear.  I have come to the conclusion if my dress costs me $160 and I have to spend $50 on alterations I’ve done more than well.  I also may add that store bought dresses do not fit me, I have a long waist and shortish legs so every evening gown is about a foot too long, the waist sits well above where mine is which means that the flare ends up way to high on my body and looks weird.  My daughter in law is a whizz with clothes and she and I tramped the shops trying on dozens of dresses last weekend to get an idea of what suited, it turns out to be a sweetheart neckline and a dress that fits under the bust and then flows, I’m slimmish but still have the usual parts of me that are not so free of bumps etc as to want to show them to the world!  I will post a pic when my dress arrives so that others can know what can be made at a reasonable price for the budget conscious among us.  Thanks again Jezika I’m so pleased you answered and reassured me a little more.

Love the hair! Love the dress!!

I know most brides want long hair on their day (I know I do :D) but I feel your haircut goes sooo well with that gown! The look is so chic and stylish and classy!
