I bought a groupon-type deal for an hour long boudior shoot that I have scheduled for this Wednesday. The deal made it seem like one outfit would be enough, but I just got an email from the photographer and she said to bring 4-5 outfits. What I have on hand:
1. corset/lace undies/thigh highs/heels (This is what I bought for the shoot)
2. a sexy bra that I could wear with the lace undies (the bra I already own)
3. I could probably steal one of FI’s button down shirts…
I wish Fiance was into sports or something at the moment. It would make coming up with other option easy. He is an engineer and very nerdy, loves board games, politics, trains and planes. Is there anything I can bring that would pay homage to that? I am not necessarily opposed to pictures of me in a sheet that make me look nude (there will be NO actual nude pictures). Hmm… I wonder if I could get a conductors hat?
I am probably over thinking this, he is SO not expecting it, and any sexy pictures of me he will cherish FOREVER. I NEVER wear makeup and am a granny-panty kind of girl. I am going outside of my comfort zone for this…
Any ideas? or places I could look for inspiration?

Do you NEED the extra outfits? Five sounds like a lot – my boudoir photographer recommended three, and that was for a 1.5 hour shoot. If it was me, I think I’d stick with the three outfits you’ve got, all of which sound super sexy, and increase the chances of getting some photos that you really love – a quality over quantity issue, you know?

I agree, and I think #4 is definitely going to be nude-with-sheet-covering-lady-bits. My concern is that I have lost a fair amount of weight (40lbs) in the last year, and feel GREAT, but am still uncomfortable with my tummy. Anything that is sexy but doesn’t show my stomach/stretch marks would be great to replace the sexy-bra outfit. Although that is my issue, Fiance loves my tummy flab/stretch-marks and all.

Oh, well then, how about a babydoll? They have flowing fabric that conceals the stomach nicely (my issue is also with my tummy), and it would be different enough from the corset, I think. Something like so? http://www.fredericks.com/Captivating_Mesh_Babydoll/44999,default,pd.html?cgid=li12
Congrats on the weight loss, by the way! That’s huge!

or what about a low cut tank top and some boy shorts/undies? lol I know they’re my nerdy engineer’s favorite! 😉 And that way you’d have two “sexy” outfits and one “cute”?

I think 5 outfits sound like way too many for a 1-hour shoot. When I’ve looked into boudior, a 1 hour shoot tends to equal 2-3 outfits total. And some don’t get any outift change.
I think what you already have sounds great. I wouldn’t worry about adding any more. Otherwise you spend too much of your hour changing clothes.

I did a shoot a few months ago and at the last minute grabbed one of his work shirts out of the closet – it was a blue button down and wore it with hot pink lace undies. the photos of me in that outfit are his favorites!
