Hi bee,
I’m from Central NJ and having my wedding in Northern NJ. There are a lot of beautiful industrial spaces near you. Are you just opposed to NJ venue or are you open to exploring some of the beautiful industrial venues that NJ has to offer? I’ve toured wuite a few. Let me know and I’ll send you the few that I had on my list. 🙂

allieyonce : Hi! Congrats on getting engaged! I strongly recommend looking into one of the venues partnered with Jeffrey Miller Catering. They are partnered with 13 venues in the greater Philadelphia area. All 13 venues are unique and beautiful in their own way- historical homes, venues on the lake, art galleries, an owl refuge, museums in center city Philadelphia, gardens, and rustic barns.
Most (if not all) of these venues meet your venue budget you mentioned above. Check out their venues here: http://jamcater.com/venues. In addition to working with awesome coordinators at each site, each site works exclusively with Jeffrey Miller Catering (JAM) for catering purposes, making life just a little bit easier! I cannot speak highly enough about JAM. I’ve been to two events, one of which was our tasting, and Jeffrey Miller, the owner, was present at both events. He, and all of the staff, are incredibly professional and friendly. If you are a foodie, you will love their menu. They strive to present farm to table menu options and their ingredients are never frozen. The tasting is unique in that you get to try every menu choice JAM has to offer through a group tasting. Their homemade menu options were far from the “run of the mill” wedding menu options. It was so challenge to finalize our menu because every option was that good. They also allow you to bring your own alcohol so that can also cut costs for your budget.
My fiancé and I will be getting married at the John James Audubon Center in October 2018. A unique aspect of this site is that there are owls on the grounds! This site has a preferable, not just suitable, rain date option, which was a huge plus for us. Please let me know if you have any questions about John James, any other site (I can try to help), or about Jeffrey Miller Catering. We booked our venue in June 2017 and all correspondence so far with JAM has been 100% positive. I cannot speak highly enough about our venue and our caterer!
