Hello, everyone! Today is my first official day as a bee even though I have been lurking on these forums for god knows how long…haha! I have been oggling and drooling over all of the beautiful rings that you ladies have, and now it’s time for me to choose my very own.
Since my Fi-to-be and I have such differing tastes, he’s asked me to pick my e-ring. I knew that I definitely wanted to get moissanite, either round or cushion, in a halo setting. I’ve been searching and searching for what seems like an eternity, and now that I’ve narrowed down my options, I can’t seem to make up my mind…. Surprise, surprise? I’m incredibly indecisive so it doesn’t help whatsoever. I’ve tried to ask him for his opinions, but it’s rather difficult since he thinks that anything that isn’t a solitaire is too gaudy or overboard. While I do adore solitaires, and have seen lots of gorgeous solitaire e-rings on here, I just don’t feel like it’s for me.
Basically, I’m torn between these two rings:
Ring 1: Round Brilliant Petite Halo
Ring 2: Antique Bella Halo
I know that there are a few ladies in the hive that have these e-rings and they are so stunningly gorgeous! I always find myself coming back to steal a glimpse of them! Now, my bf prefers ring 1 since it’s a bit simpler. And I… I love both! I love how thin the halo and band are in ring one, and I love how the halo is set slightly further from the actual stone. Buuuuut I do also love the intricacy of the Bella halo and I love that it has, “surprise” diamonds/stones. I’m at the point where I’m even playing with the idea of getting the petite halo as an e-ring the bella halo as a RHR later but with sapphire as the center stone instead (example inspiration ring). ;>_>
What do you ladies think? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! ^_^

I think the Antique Bella ring is gorgeous and I usually don’t like halos. I also think it would be even more gorgeous with a sapphire center stone.

I had no idea what an Antique Bella halo ring was. When I clicked on your link, I said, out loud, “WOW, that’s pretty!!!!” I LOVE that ring! It’s stunning! I vote for the Antique Bella!

Thank you both for your input! I am really leaning towards the bella halo, but I wish I could link pictures of the petite halo because the stock photos do not do it justice! I know a couple other bees have it, and their pictures really show off the ring’s sparkle, but I don’t want to/don’t think I’m allowed to link without permission? >_<

@MissTrueBlue: I love the petite halo. I’ve seen other pictures of it on the Bee. You’re right, the stock pics don’t do it justice AT ALL. It’s waaaay prettier in “real life” pix. I voted for that 🙂

@Miss True Blue… You asked if you could link mine to this thread… I’ll go one step further and post a couple photos! It’s true, the moissanite website DOES NOT do this ring justice!

Definitely the Bella! That was one of my favorite rings from moissyco and I was actually having a hard time choosing between that one and my three stone for my reset. It’s really stunning! The details are awesome. 🙂

I think calocal ring is just stunning. It’s stunning without being too over the top which sounds like what your Fiance has in mind. After seeing calocal’s pictures, I voted for the petite halo.

You cannot go wrong with either, but bella halo would look good with a moissy OEC!
I far prefer the cut of OEC vs round brilliant in moissanite- I own both 🙂

I vote bella, partially because I’m biased! My ring is very similar although it’s not a moissy, it’s a diamond – we had my ring made from an art deco design then moissy brought the bella out!! The little accents at the side make it so graceful and a little bit different. However, both rings are stunning.

What size center stone are you going with?
I totally understand your situation, I’m thinking of doing the same thing with getting a RHR in a halo later (only with a blue or pink moissy instead of sapphire)! Personally I love the petite halo best, love the simplicity and daintiness!

I say go with the Bella but then again I am super biased because that’s my ring.

After seeing @calocal:‘s gorgeous ring, I really don’t think you could go wrong with either one! They’re both gorgeous!

@MissTrueBlue: I prefer the Bella Halo. I will add the disclaimer that halo’s are not generally my thing, but I prefer the more antique/antique-styled halos. I have seen lots of handshots of the Bella and think it is gorgeous!
There are a couple bees, as I recall, who have that one as well!
