I dont have an Eidel ring, but I think they are gorgeous! I just wanted to share my experience. My fiance and I are just recently engaged and he let me pick what I wanted. I originally picked a white sapphire and diamond ring from eidelprecious and was so excited. Even though the reveiws are amazing a little part of me was nervous too since it was a big purchase of my “forever” ring without seeing it first. When the ring came in I was blown away by the sparkle and beauty of the stones. The white sapphire was so sparkly. The problems I had with it was how extremely dainty the setting was. I knew it was going to be a dainty ring but it didnt seem like it would be able to hold up well with daily wear for many years to come. Also, the white sapphire was a 1.20 carat, and gemstone carat weight is not the same as diamond carat weight so it was a lot smaller of a stone in person than what I expected. Needless to say, I sent the ring back and we looked elsewhere. I think eidel has different settings for some of the rings she sells so you may not run into the problem of it being too dainty. Also I would suggest going for a bigger carat weight than I did. On her website she does not state the measurement of the stones in mm which I think is pretty important when it comes to buying gemstones online. Maybe you could email her to send you the measurements of the ring you choose to be sure it is the size you are looking for. I hope this helps, like I said, her rings are AMAZING but its can be tricky buying something so important without seeing it first. Good luck! Keep us posted on what you end up doing!!! πŸ™‚

@DeadlyRed:  I’m glad I was able to help! I actually have been having really bad luck in my ring search. After we returned the ring, we chose to go with another Etsy designer that does handmade work. I also thought this second ring was very beautiful but was disappointed with the overall quality especially for the amount we paid. Also, it was double the price we paid for the eidelprecious ring. It was sad to send it back because I had it for a few weeks and the majority of the craftsmanship problems were after getting it back from being resized. The fact that it needed to be sent so far away was another issue that I thought would be no big deal, but was kind of a nightmare. I actually posted it a bunch of times on here and really did love it but just could not let the craftsmanship flaws go. The pictures I have posted were before I actually sent it out to be resized too. This all just happened this week actually and I am now in the process of finding something different. I will either go with a local jeweller or go with a bigger and well known company online. Whatever I do go with I will post when I know for sure its the one πŸ™‚

I have an EidelPrecious ring. I love it. I received it in April of last year and I haven’t had any problems with diamonds falling out or anything like (knock on wood). The setting is for sure dainty, but I don’t feel that it is fragile.

I am a clumsy person, but I do take care of it. I don’t wear it when I am cleaning, or to bed, or in the shower. I have knocked it though, and once I dropped it (a couple of heartstopping minutes as it rolled under my bolted to the wall desk, haha).

It is a super sparkly ring, but it gets dirty fast. I actually thought the sapphire wasn’t that sparkly until my sister cleaned the ring for me. So, regular cleanings are a must!

@DeadlyRed:  Hahaha well I certainly dont clean it often enough to worry about damaging the sapphire. Sapphires are pretty high on the Mohs scale – 9 I think, so I am not even sure that cleaning will damage them? What do I know though. Perhaps someone with more knowledge will chime in.

My ring is a 1.49 carat oval, peach-champagne sapphire. It looks peach most of the time but will only photograph as champagne, haha.

Good luck in your search!
