So, I’m wearing a natural waist lace gown that’s strapless with a scalloped edge. I originally ordered a single tier veil with 1/2 in lace trim (in the style of this one: http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery/picture/695055). But I recently got a few pictures from the shop where I bought the dress with me wearing two layers and I like the way the two layers give the veil fullness and the way the two lace trims look from the back. I’m just afraid that it might be too much lace. I should metion that I’m 5’0” – will prob be 5’3” with heels. So I’m looking for comments on whether:
1. having a lace trim is too much and I should just do a plain veil
2. whether two layers with or without trim would look prettier. I will probably wear my hair in a loose bun on the side: http://cdn.blogs.sheknows.com/celebrityphotos.sheknows.com/2008/09/evangeline-lilly-low-chignon-knot-hairstyle-2008-primetime-emmy-awards.jpg like this one. But not sure if it goes with a round face.
3. Do you think a fingertip length veil would be too much for me given my height?
Oh, I should mention that we’re having a ceremony in a church.
