Thanks for the review.

I recently went dress shopping there.  Like the review from 2 years ago said, they wouldn’t tell me any style numbers or even designers of the dresses I liked.  They also did not allow pictures.

I found one dress that I really liked and, knowing that they specialized in Maggie gowns, went home and found it online.  When I returned to discuss pricing with them, I referred to the gown by name and they still wouldn’t confirm that this was, in fact, the correct name for the dress.  I found that kind of insulting (like, I know what dress it is, now please treat me like an adult).

There was one other gown that they told me was “private collection.”  As soon as i said I kind of liked it, the consultant tried to push the sale.  It was kind of weird- I was lukewarm about this one, but very excited about the Maggie.  And the “private collection” one was cheaper… I don’t know what that was about.

One final thing- the consultant didn’t really listen to me, pulling styles that I didn’t like and gowns that were well above my price point.

I wouldn’t recommend this store.  Happy ending- I recently bought my beautiful dress (Dabra!) at another store!
