Hey girlies !!

I had my old ring from moissyco. They use diamond sidestones although I had never asked the quality of them.

Their customer service is good.

This time around I am just wanting to stay away from the bigger companies. I spoke with Ron who is the designer of Diamelia gem. Honestly, I LOVE his story. I’ll post the link for you to read it just incase you are still searching around.

Here is his link for one of them

His settings are beautiful. Someone else here said that all moissanites are the same and they’re all made overseas and shipped here but I don’t think that’s the case with this guy. I think he actually invented this particular stone and cuts his own. I’m going to get more details but I think I’m going to go with him.

Here is his email back to me when I had asked him about all of the orher companies :

<div>Hey Erin</div>
Thanks for the note. I think you’ll be glad you found me.</div>
<div>So, our Round Blazing Arrows™ cut DIAMELIA® is the #1 most diamond-like Silicon Carbide (moiss) in the world. It’s truly beautiful. Thin arrows, proper table, ideal crown and clean, colorless crystal/material.</div>
I try not to speak negatively about my competitors, yet I have to agree with many people’s negative opinions about the companies you listed, and amora.</div>
After all, you want your gem to be like a diamond, right?! I’ve accomplished that and the many Diamelia owners are thrilled.</div>
<div>One company boasts that their gem is far more brilliant than a diamond. To me, that means it looks unbelievable, or fake – right? I set out to find the very best material and cutters to satisfy my Very Picky taste. It’s been a lot of work and investment, but so much fun.</div>
<div>Now I’m seeing people enjoying the fruit of my labor and it’s really, truly, amazingly rewarding:)</div>
<div>You haven’t heard of me probably because I don’t have the huge ad budget the other guys have. I’ve chosen to build my customer base slowly, yet solidly. To me, every customer needs to be thrilled and satisfied beyond what they expected. Then and only then will people feel compelled to share, write and post about me…and that’s how I get to meet new people, like you!</div>
<div> </div>
I could write a book about all the reasons people choose me and Diamelia, but I’ll let you google my name and Diamelia and Gold & Gems Fine Jewelry etc and review our reputation.</div>
I really and truly strive to offer perfection in the quality of my gems and custom work, but we also try to exceed people’s expectations for service and information.

</div>
Please let me know if I can help further…and let’s get you wearing a luxuriously lavish DIAMELIA® in one of my custom settings~!</div>

I got my rings orginally from MoissaniteandCo as well Loved them! . I recently ordered a new bigger set from a new Canadian based store in Toronto, Moissy Fine Jewellery the prices I found really competitive and the canadian dollar doesnt hurt.( I was as little nervous to be honest) They were amazing and the first place to have a retail location opening. So Check them out, they may be able to get you what you need in your budget Your budget of $5000 is fair I think, BUT…..make sure you get what you love or you may end up wishing you spent it when you hubby comes home with a new TV LOLOLOLOL

michellelynn9175 :  oh good glad you could read it. I wish there were more reviews. Did you read about his oval? It has NO bow tie. How crazy right!!? He must really be a perfectionist. Maybe he will design you an elongated cushion! He sounds like such a nice guy and he loves what he does. I bet you he would.  I read so many reviews from super OCD people like myself who have compared ALL the companies stones and they said this one is by far the most diamond like. The side view of the crown is so beautiful. I’m asking him to make me some more videos lol.

I know the price of the stone isn’t as cheap as moissyco but not as expensive as others, the 3ct is 1079 for the round. I would def ask him. And he sells a lot of other brands on his site too.

michellelynn9175 : I’m not loving it. Not much movement of light within the stone. I see some around the edges. Perhaps they have it in subdued light to minimize rainbow fire? I’d want to see it LED, fleurescent and natural light before buying. Just my two cents…sorry sealed

michellelynn9175 :  I went back and watched it again and notice the second part of the video was in store lighting which is probably LED. It did look better in that environment to my eye.

michellelynn9175 :  its showing too many rainbows for me. It should be white flashes to be more diamond-like. It looks alot like C&C cuts to me.
