I have booked a really nice, 24 person cabin this August for my Fiance and my immediate families. We plan on getting married on a saturday. So I have bought the dress, cabin is booked…problem remaining is I have no venue, or restaurant for reception. Does anyone have any experience with this? I would love to have the ceremony atop a mountain with stunning views but I do not want to pay an outrageous price. Also looking for a nice group dining experience after the ceremony….maybe somewhere we can play our own music, something intimate and nice.
Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I don’t think it’d be on top of a mountain, but Wears Valley is right there kinda in Pigeon Forge, but off to the side. It’d probably be cheaper, and you’d def. have the mountains as backdrops.
There are plenty of wedding chapels everywhere there. It’s very touristy. I’m not sure where you are from originally, but August there will be very hot and very very humid so that’s something else to keep in mind when timing the ceremony.

eelacissej: Is your cabin in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. I think you would have more options for a scenic venue in Gatlinburg and probably more restaurant options too.

eelacissej: You can find a lot of places in Gatlinburg with a little goole.com search.
