Odd topic post I know. Here is my question, I noticed a few of you on here are in the same situation as me, where you eloped and maybe a few people here and there know or a lot of them know and now you are doing a big wedding.
With that said do you still do a registry?

I don’t see why not- friends and family will want to give gifts no matter what. I would just go with one nice registry to get what you guys want/need.

I had a friend of mine do the same thing-well they didn’t "elope" but chose to get married a year earlier in their backyard with only their immediate family (so like less then 10 ppl). They then started planning their big day and they registered..people will want to give you gifts because they want to be a part of your special day! I say go for it!

If you’re having a wedding and inviting people to this wedding then I see no reason why you shouldn’t have a registry just like any other wedding. The fact that you are legally married shouldn’t make a difference as you are still having a reception!
