@Candies147:  We will be eloping with probably a relative or two along. I am so excited to be getting married that the alone feeling isn’t something I think about.

If you want, just have a few people involved in the planning process. For example, look at proposed wedding dresses online or in a shop together, talk about types of flowers for your bouquet, etc.

If you have your mom, sister, best friend, etc. at least involved in the conversations/prep beforehand, you will feel less alone because they helped lead you up to the big day.

We’re eloping in the summer of 2013.  The two of us don’t give a fig about anyone else.  Let them squawk about “Why couldn’t you invite us?!” and crap, FI’s and my day is OUR day.  They can bring lobster and potato/tomato salad to our post-honeymoon reception.  That is all.
