I’m still tossing around idea of whether to order a bouquet from local florist ? Or make a small brooch bouquet? We are eloping to San Francisco for courthouse wedding then later a romantic dinner and staying in Napa for honeymoon.im concerned with prices of bouquets I’ve looked at online for that area versus if I make my own brooch bouquet and whether it will be allowed in carryon? Any brides ever deal with this? How did you handle it? Any ideas would be great!

@BluButterfly: Seems like it might be easier to just a get a small bouquet when you get there unless oyu are set on a brooch bouquet. Brooch bouquets are very pretty and oculd keep it for every but often times they wind up costing more than a bouquet of flowers esp of you are just wanting a small bouquet. You could prob just carry the brooch bouquet in your carry on bag onto the plane if you decided to go that route.

I would do the brooch *if* you are a DIY gal! What a wonderful keepsake. I would suggest going to garage sales, Goodwill for some “legit” vintage brooches!!! And you’d be so proud of your little project!

I’m ordering a silk wedding bouquet. Since its fake, i can keep it forever as a souvenier from our wedding. There are silk wedding bouquets that look very real.
