Good morning bees! Me and SO have decided to elope in Paris, we have sorted out all the legal side (like marrying in our country first Now i’m not sure where to go from here.
We want to have a ceremony with just us and a celebrant with a view of the Eifell tower, But everything I find is extremely expensive (conversion rate is not helping either) any tips where to start from bees who have done this or looked into it? should I book a package or find things seperatly?

I don’t really have any advice, as I have never done this, but I am looking to elope in Ireland so it might be similar-ish. What are you finding to be expensive? Do you mean the accomodation, flight, stay, or the ceremony itself?

I was quoted 13,000 (aud) for a ceremony of 2 (it included hair/makeup and a photographer).. but i think i may have found part of my problem, i AM looking in August and I see that that’s a big holiday time for paris

Try looking for an elopement package. I’ve seen elopement packages for like $5000 for Paris. I’m eloping too but in Cancun, Mexico

Style me Pretty features Paris elopments from time to time. Maybe you could reach out to them or see if they list the vendors on thier posts. Here are the results of a general search. Just got home from Paris, its a gorgeous place to elope. Best of luck.

Great choice!
I think this is something you could plan yourself for much less. I had a smaller wedding (30 people) in Paris less than 2 weeks ago and used the following vendors and LOVED them. They all speak English, which is a huge help.
Photographer – Catherine O’Hara – http://www.catherineohara.com/
Officiant – Aude Abadie – http://www.celebrantinparis.com/
Hair and Makeup – Modern Beauties – http://www.modernbeautiesparis.com/
We had our reception at Le Meurice which woud probably be a bit too large for an elopement, but was absolutely wonderful. You may want to check the Laperouse for dinner http://www.laperouse.com/ The food is wonderful and they have small private rooms.
By The Way, here is one of my favorite pictures to get you in the mood for Paris.

londoncard : I just wanted to thank you for your little post. I am eloping in Paris next year and it has been really helpful. I wouldn’t have found La Perouse by myself, unfortunately the photographer wasn’t available anymore but I booked the makeup artist Modern Beauties you recommended, did a trial with Allison on a weekend trip to Paris and she is amazing!!
I was wondering, do you recommend having the photographer until the dinner at La Perouse? Just wondering if you did that, and if so, were the pictures worthed? It’s an additional cost so I’m not sure what to do. The place looks beautiful but I’m afraid not to be comfotable being photographed there…
By the way this picture is dreamy and you look fabulous!
