@sheri2joseph:  Congrats on your upcoming elopement!  I think any of those locations would have endless options!

I recently posted photos of a Hawaiian elopement I found on SMP (scroll down on this board).

Are you looking for a natural outdoor location, or having the ceremony at a building/hotel?

Here are links to several CA elopements, places and photographers listed at the end:

Los Olivos

Near Beverly Hills

Joshua Tree

I live in Southern CA (right outside of Los Angeles). What are you looking for? Beach? City? Destination? Private? Disneyland?

Catalina Island (should be BEAUTIFUL in March)

San Diego, La Jolla, Coronado

In Florida I’d  recommend the gulf shores-white sand beaches and blue waters. google Florida gulf elopement . There are several companies and bed and breakfasts that offer elopement packages. I particularly like http://www.negroniphotography.com/. Check there beach weddings page

Florida will be much closer for you, but it all depends on what you want. There are some really nice places in each

I love the gulf shores…so, second it! However, I wanted to mention Amelia Island, Florida. I haven’t been there, but it’s where we’re ‘eloping’ to in April.

I recommend that you can go to Miami, Florida – and get married on the beach!

If you and your fiancé are both non-Florida residents, you can get your marriage license with no waiting period (so you can get your marriage license and then get married on the beach, all on the same day)!

Also, you do not need any witnesses to get married in Florida, so you and your fiancé can elope without having to have anyone else with you!

I suggest that you check out Tropical Miami Beach Weddings – they gave us the most wonderful wedding ceremony on the beach by the hotel we were staying at!!!

All we had to do was come down from our room, and they were there in the lobby waiting for us!  It was completely romantic and stress-free!

We were so very happy we chose them!!  They were really great!!!  So if you want a quick and easy wedding ceremony on the beach – go to Miami and get married on the beach with them!

Here is the link to their website …

I hope this helps!
