I have the reception and photographer all worked out.
However I want my symbolic ceremony at Chapelle expiatoire with an english speaking officiant but dont know where to start.
I don’t really want to pay someone a lot of money to do it when I’m capable of it, but I’m stuck.
Also, recommondations on hair/makeup & flowers?

For flowers I heard that you can just get them from whatever flower shops nearby and they will make you a bouquet. Haveyou asked your photographer about a English speaking officiant? I heard http://charlesgillman.com/ does hair/ makeup and they come to your hotel. Also the photographer were using in Paris suggested Jim Leavy as a celebrant [email protected] and James as a hairstylist/makeup artist http://www.jmsbyjames.com. Let me know how it goes! Where are you planning your reception?

This isn’t related to your request, but you should by all means, plan a special dinner at La Tour D’Argent. It’s a huge splurge, but so, so worth it. Get the duck a l’orange.
SO and I were in Paris for Christmas, and had the meal of our lives there… honestly, if I knew I had one last meal on earth, it would be here! The service is exquisite, you overlook the Seine, with buildings lit up behind, views of Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc… Grace Kelly, JFK, presidents of countless countries dined there as regulars…
Best of luck with the rest of your wedding – I am so jealous you get to elope in the city of lights 🙂

Also, leave a love lock on one of the Seine bridges with your initials written on it!
