I have a CD in my car with just old school J-lo and all the songs from legally blonde the musical on there for late night driving to keep me awake, as I can’t not sing to every. single. song…

Also I absolutely love Legally blonde the musical, I went to NYC with my mother in 2008 and while we were there we watched a few episodes of the finding elle woods program, we then noticed that the musical with her in it was on broadway while we were there…best night ever! probably one of the best nights of my existance (so sad!)

The only thing holding me back from decorating the house for Christmas is that I don’t live alone. Fiance already knows I’m crazy about Christmas, but he doesn’t know I’m October-crazy.

GFerg: I got one from my grandma after my first communion and I wouldn’t wear it because I used it for prayer, but if you’re not catholic (and weren’t raised to treat it as a sacred object) it doesn’t really apply. I was like 8 when I first saw someone wear it and immediately started praying for their soul (lol). I was a super religious kid, though, seriously considered becoming a nun.

I binge watched all of the seasons of Gossip Girl and fell in love with Chuck Bass, and now I have moved on to Pretty Little Liars.  I recognize that the shows are not exactly “high brow,” but I am enjoying the hell out of every single episode, lol. (It also helps me get excited to do my cardio because I watch it on my tablet while I run)

MrsPiggles:  I LOVE the Backstreet Boys. I’m watching Dancing with the Stars cause Nick is on it this season (I can’t stand the show and the judges severely under score him and over score Bindi Irwin, UGH). Cant judge as I used to write backstreet boys and nsync fanfiction in my youth. Embarassing, however I was able to hone my creative writing skills.

The only CDs I have in my car are BSB CDs from the “red album” to Never Gone – not a fan of their current stuff, but still love them none the less.

My embarrassing confession is that I LOVE the show Girl Meets World. It is a Boy Meets World spin off with Corey and Topanga’s daughter on the Disney channel. Maybe it’s the nostalgia that gets me, but I think the show is adorable and I love it.

futuremrshalpert:  LOL he is the only reason I watch DWTS too hahaha! I otherwise don’t care for that show. And his performance to one of their songs was bad ass.

My BSB freakouts come and go though…. Darling Husband and I will go crazy and sing their songs all day and then we won’t do that again for months.

(Yes Darling Husband is a bit BSB crazy too haha)

I am loving all the BSB love on this thread. Freaking love them!

ETA: that’s a lot of love in one sentence. I should probably consult a thesaurus lol

futuremrshalpert:  I 100% agree with you on DWTS and the Nick/Bindi thing. They hold him to a higher standard but he also takes the criticism really well!

Also, on Girl meets world – It doesn’t measure up to Boy meets world tbh but it’s still cute… Darling Husband and I decided that if/when we have a kid and they’re old enough to watch these shows, we’ll buy the whole season of boy meets world because he finds it more educational than “the hyped up wanna-be-grown-up kids in these shows”.

My embarrassing confession is that I am obsessed with the show Botched. My husband has made me promise to not have it on when he’s eating because he finds it gross lol

I love love love the movie the Nightmare Before Christmas… I sing the songs along with the movie which I watch at least 3x a year… sometimes I just sing the pumpkin king song for fun, especially lately with Halloween right around the corner! I think my Fiance thinks its cute, he will randomly play the song to hear me sing along (rather badly) lol!

I know it’s childish but I’m not going to lie alot of children’s movies are great.

When I’m alone, I pretend that I’m a celebrity being interviewed on a late night talk show. And yes, I speak out loud!!

I absolutely love 90s music and listen to a 90s hits radio app on my phone whenever I’m cleaning, taking a shower, or doing my hair and makeup.  I’m not really embarrassed by it until I get caught by Darling Husband full on rapping to Biggie or Tupac or dancing to New Kids on the Block. lol

I love a lot of these things and am not embarassed!

My law school friends and I watch Girl Meets World.

I’m still obsessed with Phantom of the Opera and regularly blast the soundtrack while singing the different parts.

Whenever my best friend and I get sick, we watch Disney movies until we pass out.

I always blast 90s music at the tail end of my long carrides and sing at the top of my lungs.
