@meggyo: I’ve done that too many times through text message.  So not fun when you realize who you sent the message to!

Goodness I was telling a girlfriend not to mess with this guy I knew. She kept begging me for his contact info. So finally I gave it to her. Well I put it in the CC for his email to come up and THOUGHT I cut and paste. Well I copied and pasted. And he was able to read the ENTIRE email thread!

WE ARE NO LONGER FRIENDS! LOL!!! 🙁

At work once, I was trying to deal with an issue a customer was having.  I had been emailing another person at my company to try and figure out what was going on, but he was being bad about responding.  I emailed him again to ask why he wasn’t responding and saying I really needed his explanation because my department had no clue what was going on…  And sent that to the customer by accident.

A few weeks ago, I texted Fiance and said, “I love you sooooooo much, and you are the sexiest!”  A couple minutes later, I got a response from his mom that said, “lol, thanks?”

I was working with a really bad travel agent once who was just wasting my time and getting nothing done. When she sent me yet another useless email, I got frustrated and accidentally hit “reply” instead of “forward” to my SO. I had meant to forward her email with my comments: “Let’s just forget about this woman. I can just make our own reservations faster than she can get off her lazy ass.” I got something back five minutes later (her quickest response ever): “I believe this was sent to me in an error.” Needless to say, I never contacted her again.

Another story that just happened…My brother had a phone interview a for a job in England this week that he thought went really well. However he got an email that afternoon that the interviewer had apparantly meant to send to his coworker, “I just found out he’s Turkish. Should we even bother?”. Racist much?

this is my nightmare! haha! One of my friends accidentally bbmed me a few years back, talking about ME.  It was obviously meant for another one of our friends…..caused a big blow up…..but it was actually good in the end….brought some serious miscommunications to the surface!

When I was about to graduate college and applying for my first job, I sent out a bunch of cover letters via email and forgot to change the name of one of the companies. I deliberated forever on whether to email them back or not to apologize for my mistake. I don’t remember if I ended up following up or not, but I definitely did not get that job!

Once I got an email from a friend’s work address that was meant to be a reprimand for one of his employees…yikes! It was really mean. My friend is pretty easy going, so it really surprised me. I just sent it back with a note that said, “I think you sent this to the wrong person!”

I was fighting with my future hubby the other day….sent a text to my mom jokingly asking “is it too late to call this wedding off, what a flippin jerk!!”  yea…I totally sent it to him and not my mom on accident!  Ooops, him and I laughed about it the next day, he knows I tell my mom everthing and that I was joking.
